Polar Thermal's entry into thermal control began with a Ministry of Defence request to prevent frozen food from melting at dockside. Under CEO Paul Harrison's leadership, the team expanded into temperature-controlled transport packaging for major clients including the National Blood Service, DHL, Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Sainsbury's, AstraZeneca and Pfizer — with products deployed globally, including conflict zones such as Afghanistan.
